Photo Essay(FUTURE LIFE)

Hello, everyone.

Today, I'm going to talk about my future life.

I'm a teacher, and my job is teaching students but also drawing comics.

*This ESSAY is about one week in my future life; imagination

D-1(August 8th, 2023)

Everyday, I teach my students art. I can see some students who are bored, look sleepy, and others. I hear a whispering sound that some students make now. I smell some sweats like candies...some students are eating! But I can't find who they are.

D-2(August 9th, 2023)

Light Crystal Tablet
Then every night, I draw comics with my liquid crystal tablet(a tool which we can draw with computer).
My sigh break the silence. I have to work 5 hours more from now on.
I'm still looking at my computer how much I finished it, but I think I can't finish it. I'm feeling really uncomfortable now because I need to finish it by today!
There will be no rest for me ToT


D-3(August 10th, 2023)

To reduce my stress, I went shopping with my friend!

There are fruits, vegetables, toys...but the most impressing for me are the clothes!!

Skirts, T-shirts, and jeans!! Today will be a really nice day!!

I've already filled my cart with lots of clothes. 

It's really really fresh here! It seems that this building is really clean. 

I can hear a jazz music coming out from this building. Oh...! It's my favorite song!! It really makes me feel happy:)

D-4(August 11th, 2023)

My favorite food: Carbonara

Today, I went to the store which is good at making carbonara with my friend(Me and my friend are regular customers there). I see a delicious carbonara with some parsley on it. It tastes really yummy. Greasy noodles and soft bacon combines together, making delicious flavor.

D-5(August 12th, 2023)

The place where I've lived in Japan

Today, my family went to Japan! I've lived in Japan for 4 years so I'm really excited now!!

We are now going to see our house. Oh! I can see it! It's very high, isn't it?? It's about 53 floors!! The air is really fresh because Japan is much cleaner than Korea. I will go to other places, too like supermarket, my school, station, and others. I'm really excited now!!

D-6(August 13th, 2023)

Joypolis in Japan

It's the second day in Japan! Today, I went to Joypolis(Indoor amusement park) with my brother. When we were young, we used to play in here. There were lots of scary things.
At that time, I was braver than my brother so I used to play more than my brother, but now, I'm quite afraid of it. Anyway, I'm really excited. I hope I can ride more than 5 today.

D-7(August 14th, 2023)

Odd eyed cat: Cotton

After I came back from Japan, I went to the pet shop to buy a cat.
And I found an odd eyed cat!! So CUTE~~
He looked like an angel.
He felt like a cotton and he smells like a cotton candy so I named him 'Cotton'.
From now on, I'm going take care him well.
I hope Cotton will make my feeling much better than before.




This was my weekly life in August 2023.
Even it is just an imagination, I really want to have a life like this.

Movie Review: Mao's Last Dancer

We all have seen the movie, 'Mao's Last Dancer', right?
If not, I'm going to explain it later, so you don't have to worry.
                   
In the story before Li goes to Beijing, his father told him the story about 'a frog in a well'.

That inspired me a lot. For me, I think it means to look much wider worldn and
don't see only the part of it. Go higher and see brighter and wider world.
Now, when you hear this, can you guess a little bit of the story?

Li cunxin was 6th son. His family was very poor. One day, people came to find some kids to make them ballet dancers. And Li was selected. He then went to Beijing.

At first, he had hard time because he wasn't talented as others.

 

                                                         

So, he decided to practice harder.

And because of his effort, he became very good at ballet and sent to New York with Ben.

In there, he met Elizabeth and fell in love with her.

Time passed, and Li becamefamous.

Then one day, the Chinese president ordered Li to come back to China.

Li didn't want to go back so Ben tried to help him.

And the solution was to marry with Elizabeth, and so he did.

But Chinese government's officials didn't want Li to saty in New York.

So they kidnapped him. Li kept said that he didn't want to go back even his family would be in danger.

So the Chinese realsed him. After this accident, Li lived happily with Elizabeth. But Elizabeth wasn't happy, because she couldn't acheive her dream due to Li.

 

So she divorced him. But they still loved each other.

 Li kept dancing eith Mary after that.

Then one day, when Li was dancing, his parents came to meet him. He was surprised, but also happy. Li and his parents were keep crying, while audience were clapping. After that, Li came back to China with Mary and his parents and danced with Mary in China.

 

 

I think this movie is romantic and emotional. When Li met his parents again, I was really touched. Now, I'm in GLPS so I can't meet my parents. When I saw Li meeting his parents, I thought about my parents. So it was realy touching.

The movie was fine. No, good. Before I saw this movie, I had a stereotype about men doing ballet. I thought men shoudln't do ballet because they look strange. But in this movie, Li was really beautiful.

He was wonderful and fantastic!!

 

But I didn't like the part when Li decided to stay in New York. Of course, the ending was happy. But what if his family died because of his decision? He had a nightmare too! If it was me, even I had a big dream, I would first care of my family.

Anyway, the most impressig person was Teacher Chan.

 

I didn't mention him in my review but because of him, Li decided to practice harder. I have a person like Teacher Chan. It's my statement teacher. I wanted to have a dream about art. But my parents didn't allow me to do art. So, I said to my statement teacher. Then, She said to me not to worry!

She said,

"It is important to listen to your parents because they have lived more than you, but it's your life! You are the owner to choose your way. Just do whatever you want! Who cares!"

That really changed my mind. It felt like she unlocked the lock which was chained to me.

And this is everything I want to say about the movie,

'Mao's Last Dancer'.

Now, I'll end my movie review.
